Infant / Child Baptism
Baptism of infants / children is ideally celebrated during the Sunday morning [10:30 a.m.] liturgy, although other times are possible. Parents should contact the parish office to arrange a time for baptismal preparation. The Church requires that at least one parent and one godparent be an active, participating Catholic indicating that the child will be supported and raised in the Catholic faith.

R.C.I.A. [Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults]
Persons interested in becoming members of the Catholic Church and / or understanding the Catholic faith are invited to attend a nine month formation journey. The group meets weekly starting in September. Individuals in the group who feel called to continue the journey toward God as Catholics enter into the Church's Rites of Welcoming and Election. At the Easter Vigil liturgy, they are baptized or received into full communion of the Catholic Church.

1. Scheduling of the Church / Chapel: Contact Diana Hay to schedule the use of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel or the Cathedral Church for a wedding. Reservation of either should take place as early as possible due to the great use of both facilities. Click here to download the Wedding Packet.
2. Parishioners planning to be married at SS. Peter and Paul will be directed to contact Fr. Dan Donohoo at least 6 months prior to the desired wedding date established in No. 1 above. The preparation process is designed to help couples understand the permanency and Christian character of their commitment. The dialogue and discernment among the couple, Fr Dan, and a Marriage Preparation sponsor couple are a part of an archdiocesan policy that assures sufficient personal and guided preparation prior to marriage.
The wedding liturgy itself is prayer and worship. The couple in conjunction with the priest / presider, music director, and wedding host / hostess [courtesy of SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral Parish], selects the many components of the wedding liturgy.
Youth Initiation and Reconciliation
Within the context of Sunday School, those young people in need of sacraments of Baptism, First Eucharist, First Reconciliation and Confirmation will receive the necessary preparation from a certified catechist. Classes are scheduled on an as needed basis.
